Foster Carers Handbook
Every new foster carer with Camden is given the Camden Foster Carers Handbook. This is a guide to help you navigate your journey as a foster carer and it covers issues that might come up.
If there's anything you don't understand in the handbook, speak to your supervising social worker for support and advice.
If you need help in an emergency, contact the out-of-hours duty team by calling the switchboard on 0207 974 4444 and choosing option 2. Situations where you might need to call the duty team include your child running away or being seriously injured.
